MY ORANGY DAY-VIDEO

HMM…WHERE ARE THE FRUITS’ REAL NUTRIENTS STORED?

I went to the College of Integrated Medicineowned by the National College of Oriental Medicine, and they gave me an extensive set of questions, and they utilized these questions to determine my acupuncture and nutritional needs.
And did acupuncture resulting in their also telling me that i needed to change and eat a certain type of foods. One of those foods were to EAT the Orange Peels and Apple peels! So I googled (went to www.google.com AND typed in the search box the words “benefits of the orange peel”) to find out the different to ways to consume the orange peel.

Livestrong.com provided these details:

“VITAMINS AND MINERALS IN THE ORANGE PEEL

Orange Peels are:

  • Packed with vitamin C – 8.2 mg in a single tablespoon of peel.
  • Other vitamins include:

  • Riboflavin, thiamin, niacin, folate, vitamin A, vitamin B-6 and vitamin B-5.
  • The peel’s mineral content includes :

  • 10 mg of calcium
  • small amounts of iron, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, zinc, copper and selenium
  • The peel’s digestibility is another health concern noted by the USDA. Large chunks of the peel might not sit well – in your stomach. If the tough, outer orange peel seems too much of a risk for you, you can still get nutrients from the inner part of the peel. The white inner coating of the peel, called the albedo, contains vitamin C, fiber, limonene, pectin ”
